20 Years as a Realtor®
Holds the Senior Real Estate Specialist® (SRES®) designation
As a seasoned Realtor® with Keller Williams Greater Metropolitan for the past nine years, Monica has helped hundreds of clients achieve home ownership throughout her distinguished career. Her goal each year is to assist at least forty families with their real estate transactions, specializing in the complex coordination required for simultaneous selling and buying situations that many seniors face.
Monica's passion for senior transitions was born from personal experience—helping her own parents transition from senior apartment living into an assisted living community was one of the most challenging housing transitions she ever experienced. This personal journey inspired her to pursue specialized training and earn her Seniors Real Estate Specialist® (SRES®) accreditation, giving her advanced expertise in helping clients navigate the unique challenges of senior housing transitions.
Recognizing the need for comprehensive support during senior transitions, Monica co-founded Your Family Resource Network alongside estate planning attorney Ron Gogul and other trusted professionals. This collaborative approach ensures families receive coordinated guidance across all aspects of their transition—legal, financial, and housing needs addressed by professionals who work together seamlessly.
Beyond traditional real estate services, Monica serves as a senior housing navigator, helping families assess care needs, understand housing options, and coordinate the entire transition process. Her expertise spans:
Market Analysis & Pricing: Professional guidance on home values and optimal timing for listing and selling family homes.
Downsizing Coordination: Assistance with the emotional and logistical challenges of transitioning from long-term family homes to more appropriate living situations.
Senior Living Community Selection: Expert knowledge of local senior living options, from independent living to specialized memory care communities.
Transition Management: Comprehensive coordination of moving services, estate sales, and family communications throughout the transition process.
Professional Service Philosophy "I thrive on managing my clients' expectations for the best result and work with a team of high-level professionals to get the job done," Monica explains. Her approach emphasizes clear communication, realistic timelines, and comprehensive support that addresses both the emotional and practical aspects of senior transitions.
As founder of Butterfly Guides, Monica has created a new model for senior transition services that combines real estate expertise with comprehensive family support. This integrated approach addresses the reality that senior transitions involve much more than just housing—they require coordination of legal, financial, healthcare, and family considerations.
Monica's clients appreciate her patient, comprehensive approach to what can be overwhelming decisions. Her personal experience with senior transitions, combined with her professional expertise and network of trusted professionals, provides families with both the emotional understanding and practical guidance they need during challenging times.
Monica's dedication to Northeast Ohio families extends beyond individual transactions. Through Butterfly Guides and Your Family Resource Network, she has created resources that support families throughout the entire transition journey, ensuring no family has to navigate these complex decisions alone.
